Caraline R. Propst, Hollisterville, died early Saturday morning at home after an illness.
She was born in South Canaan, daughter of the late Ralph G and Beatrice Morgan Brooks. She was a member of the Hollisterville Baptist Church. Prior to retirement she had been employed as a nurses aid at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Surviving are sons R.Dale Tennant of Lake Ariel, William Tennant of Florida, Glen Tennant ofDaleville and John Yermal of Hollisterville; daughters Darlene Gillow ofArizona and Regina Hemak of Simpson; abrother Charles Brooks of West Virginia; a sister Dina O’Donnell of Cresco;twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother James Brooks.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11am in the James Wilson Funeral Home 143 Gravity Rd. LakeAriel.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4-7pm.
Interment, Canaan Bible Protestant Cemetery, South Canaan.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Northeast Penna. Hospice at the Regional Hospital of Scranton 746 Jefferson Ave. Scranton 18510.
